  1. Most days my makeup are quite simple, with a bold eyeliner wing. This is how I do it:
Above: Half close eyes with flash
Above: Open eyes with natural lighting
Basic products that I used are above. Primer (Catalina Geo), Foundation (Garnier Light BB), Loose Powder (Lioele Secret Pore HD), Blusher (elf Berry Merry) and Eyeliner (Maybelline EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Liner Pot).

But the special thing that I always put on top of my wing eyeliner is Kate Eyeshadow BR-1.
Elle Tip: The black eyeshadow powder has shimmering gold dust. Maybe it got from the gold colour lol I am not sure. The reason I top the gel eyeliner with this black eyeshadow powder is because I found that it keeps my wing intact, without smudge and crease after a whole day ^^

So end result, a happy Elle~!
How often I do this look? Very often. With the frequent practise, it still takes me 15 minutes to doll up like this. Hopefully, I will be better and quicker, and do this in 10 minutes, then it's not only a happy Elle, but also a happy hubby hahaha~

  2. I have super oily face, and I usually look like a frying pan by late afternoon (that is if I did not blot away~). It was much worse in my early teens. It has been ages since I truly hold my palms to my face because of the oiliness and I always have a hard time cleaning smudges of foundation on me and hubs clothes grrr.

My mil and I was shopping in Far East, Singapore; and bought this for me! Liole is from Korea. I think they debuted with their famous bb cream in 2010. Now they have a whole range of products.  The Lioele Secret Pore HD Powder is 15g of white silica powder and comes with a puffing pad, but I do not use it. I uses a brush to put the powder on my face, after my foundation. I love it~! Matte face here I come!
I think I look abit wide on my pink fusia top :( That's because it was just days I came back from Melbourne, loaded with food lol.
If you want to do without shine, try this Lioele Secret Pore HD Powder and share with me~

  3. There are so many brand new items for a brand new 2012 year to review! I just know it's gonna be a great year!
I started the year with a brand new foundation primer, Catalina Geo Colour Capsule Makeup Base.
(from google search, I'm not really sure if it's from Korea, Italy or Australia lol)
Lovely lilac capsules in a pump bottle. I love these kind of pump bottles because it just pushes up from the base which means no waste, great for travelling because it comes with a good tight cap, and just look classy ^^
L: With flash. R: no flash, room lighting.
It's tecture feels like mousse. Quite smooth when apply on skin. I uses 2 pumps all over my face. At first I was afraid if its too pale to use it alone by itself, without foundation. But surprisingly the lilac colour dissappear after application! It's said that the botanical ingredient Royalhersome can match our face color naturally when used.
See for yourself! I think I do look fairer (compare with my neck) but I didn't mind. Who doesn't like to look fairer? lol
Here's how I look when I dolled up with make up. Yes it definitely created a slightly lighted shade when combined with my foundation. I can actually use this with foundations that I accidentally bought a darker shade! Let's test it for the day..
I was back in Melbourne for the month of January. This photo was taken hanging out with my hubby and gougeous sis-in-law at Victoria Market. I thinked my face has gone abit "wider" for all those meat and sausages that I have been eating there! Argghh!
Verdict: LOVING IT! Omg look at my grin lol

  4. EOTD gold then purple

    Jun 20, 2010

Just a few EOTDs to share and perhaps get some helpful tips on what I should and should not do next time. I'm quite new on EOTDs, but I love colours and love to mix things up from different palettes and not just stick to one. A really bad habit of mine is: lay out all the e/s colours and then pick and choose! Not very safe eh cause' colours might clash lol

I got this lovely Shu Uemura palette from Fatin @ Chocolatecatsz and it is really beautiful! So is she ^_*
This palette comes with 3 e/s (gold bronze, burgundy, baby blue) and a natural beige can be either for face contour (I usually mix this with a sparkly blusher so that it is less sparkly). I <3 the gold bronze and use it many many times now.

OK, for my next EOTD I'll be using the lovely purplish Coffret D'or (again hehe).
Face: L'egere BB Cream (I think it's spf 27 - read it on internet)
    Eye base/primer: Lunasol
    Mascara: Maybelline Magnum Volume
    Lip: Stila Lip Gloss
    Eyeliner: BeneFit BadGal
    Blush: FrontCover
I love the flat head PopBeauty e/s brush

I tried to do a successful swatch with this palette, but I don't know how the light plum colour does not show up that obvious in my swatch. I really like this plum colour, although you may not see it that clear here (as I got a lousy phone camera >.<) but it is like a combination of purple and pink!

I have really weird eye shape as I can't seem to connect my eyeliner at the far end corner. If I draw them connected, I kinda have droopy eyes. So I am at wits end what to do! So normally I just leave it out, not connecting my eyeliner, so there is always a gap there.

Hope you like my photos, I love creating these as I just bought plentyful of digital scrap booking images, and using the free Microsoft Publisher is awesome! I have created a few calendar desktop wallpapers, if any of you want it, leave your email or contact me and I'll forward them to you ^^

  5. Lunasol Coral Palette

    Mar 26, 2010

My first Lunasol palette is here! Thanks to stellarvixen, I am introduced to the world of Lunasol! She went hauling recently and kind enough to get me these babies. Other than the palette, there is this Kate makeup base, lip gloss and a nail polish.

Lookie here, the colours are so gorgeous! Super fine shimmer and shout out loud of spring.

My 'monkey' charm from my phone camera just got to be in the mirror LoL

It's so pretty that I have not even wanna start using it yet, gonna get some inspirational EOTD out there in the world of blogging. Gonna learn from you gals!

This Kate makeup base is in white liquid. It is supposed to be hydrating (sound gr8 for my oily skin). It really absorb fast into the skin. I have not been using this alot, because it is actually quite little for a tube like this. I reckon I can finish this for like 15 applications >.<

Sorry for the short post! I hope you don't think I do a half-a** job on this post. I'm getting ready for a big giveaway next week, which is my BIRTHDAY! Something on this page will be given away (everything will be brand new!). So stay tune, babes, I will be back for a great great giveaway!
