  1. Most days my makeup are quite simple, with a bold eyeliner wing. This is how I do it:
Above: Half close eyes with flash
Above: Open eyes with natural lighting
Basic products that I used are above. Primer (Catalina Geo), Foundation (Garnier Light BB), Loose Powder (Lioele Secret Pore HD), Blusher (elf Berry Merry) and Eyeliner (Maybelline EyeStudio Lasting Drama Gel Liner Pot).

But the special thing that I always put on top of my wing eyeliner is Kate Eyeshadow BR-1.
Elle Tip: The black eyeshadow powder has shimmering gold dust. Maybe it got from the gold colour lol I am not sure. The reason I top the gel eyeliner with this black eyeshadow powder is because I found that it keeps my wing intact, without smudge and crease after a whole day ^^

So end result, a happy Elle~!
How often I do this look? Very often. With the frequent practise, it still takes me 15 minutes to doll up like this. Hopefully, I will be better and quicker, and do this in 10 minutes, then it's not only a happy Elle, but also a happy hubby hahaha~

  2. My first encounter with Caudalie was about 4 years ago, 2008, when I swapped at makeupalley. It was the Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Mask (purple range). It was ok, or maybe I did not mask it enough hehe
Caudalie is from France. The basis of it's products are from grapes. The founders own a winery in France and they expand to developing skincare somewhere in 1993.
Last year, I was invited by Sasa Malaysia (organised by Sasa Hong Kong) to try out their new range, Caudalie Vinosource (pink range).
That's their whole range, available exclusively in Sasa. This range is formulated specifically for dehydrated and sensitive skins. It contains three key ingredients from the grape vine:-
    1. Grape Water® extracted from organic grapes during harvesting rich in polysaccharides that have the ability to capture water and conserve the quantity it needs within its cells;
    2. Vinolevure® (exclusive to Caudalie) which is extracted from the walls of wine yeast with unique hydrating, strengthening and protective qualities and can conserve up to 100 times its weight in water; and
    3. Grape-seed Polyphenols, the most powerful anti-oxidants in the plant kingdom, they block 100% of free radicals and are 10,000 times more effective than Vitamin E.

I was given a bottle of Caudalie Vinosource Quenching Sorbet-Creme, full size 40ml, retail RM120 to try out. This post was delayed as I just recently finished it. I think it's only justify to give my thoughts about it after I ponder it's affect.
Texture: Light cream but turn liquid upon face, light a wet mousse.
Absorption: Very quick. Leave no residue.
    Smell: None for me
Ingredients: There are no harmful ingredients such as parabens, phenoxyethanol, phthalates, coloring agents, mineral oils and silicones
Packaging: I love pumps because it is hygienic and great for travelling as it won't spill (I always keep caps). But this pump is not possible to open/detached from the bottle. So I can't really dig in for any last drop lol.

I have heard many experts saying that oily skin is also the result of dehydrated skin, as in not much moisture/water under the face epidermis. This medium size moisturiser lasted me about 2 months.

Verdict: I like it ^^ I will continue to use it. I have no breakout using this, except the occasional zits that occur prior menstrual. I do feel less oily on my face, but only a minimal less. It is not yet my personal HG moisturiser, but it can be considered. I'm looking forward to know my face condition after the 3rd bottle :)

  3. I have super oily face, and I usually look like a frying pan by late afternoon (that is if I did not blot away~). It was much worse in my early teens. It has been ages since I truly hold my palms to my face because of the oiliness and I always have a hard time cleaning smudges of foundation on me and hubs clothes grrr.

My mil and I was shopping in Far East, Singapore; and bought this for me! Liole is from Korea. I think they debuted with their famous bb cream in 2010. Now they have a whole range of products.  The Lioele Secret Pore HD Powder is 15g of white silica powder and comes with a puffing pad, but I do not use it. I uses a brush to put the powder on my face, after my foundation. I love it~! Matte face here I come!
I think I look abit wide on my pink fusia top :( That's because it was just days I came back from Melbourne, loaded with food lol.
If you want to do without shine, try this Lioele Secret Pore HD Powder and share with me~

  4. Capture the Day

    Mar 3, 2012

How did I gain 5kg in one month? Melbourne is the culprit!
Cakes galore! I love dark chocholate and pretty little pastries from Brunetti. Don't forget Ferguson's chocolate eclairs! Black forest will always be my favourite cake, regardless what Seinfeld said lol
Hubby misses the beach so we were down at St Kilda Beach. No I didn't sneak-away for a ride at Luna Park. We got to have potato wedges with sour cream and thai chilli sauce there.
Ahh Laurent Cafe..always gives me the Parisian feeling when I'm there. Thanks to Crown Casino, we had a free day tsk tsk ;p
Melbourne is a lovely city, with the Yarra River running along in the city. It was a beautiful day! Oh why did they moved the DFO from Southern Cross..
Took the tram on Sunday coz of Sunday Savers, went down to Carlton park near Lygon Street. Some luncheon pasta serve with a glass of fine at AUD15~
I miss my lattes and flat whites and mocha (I still can'e decide which is my favourite after all this years, coz I ordered depending on what lippie I was using lol). OK we both gain a few pounds >.< got to hit the bikes soon~

    With Love, Elle
